The Inside Scoop on Napa Valley’s Newest Steakhouse

Dinner at BOA Steakhouse: Napa Valley’s Newest Steakhouse
BOA Steakhouse is a Hollywood-born, celeb-fave steakhouse that just opened its first Northern California location in Napa Valley. With locations in Las Vegas, Austin, West Hollywood, and more, it’s a surprise that the sexy steakhouse brand chose Napa Valley.
It seems to me that the brand new $80M facelift of the previous Embassy Suites- now Casa Mani Resort– is setting the stage for a new chapter of hospitality in the valley.
I was invited by the property to indulge in this restaurant, but all opinions are my own. Let’s go ahead and get started with my BOA Steakhouse Napa Valley review.
First Impressions of BOA Napa Steakhouse
The sun was gleaming as we drove onto the property. The drive from San Francisco was (as always) scenic. Who can’t resist the views of rolling hills and vineyards?
The property itself is close to downtown Napa, the outlets, the Wine Train, and Oxbow Public Market, making it an easy home base to escape to for a vacation. BOA Steakhouse provides free valet service for all guests with a reservation, which I found to be a nice touch.
I’ve personally never stayed at the old Embassy Suites, so I have nothing to compare the new property to, but the updated signage, fresh paint, new landscaping, and overall vibe of Casa Mani were nice to see. I can only imagine what it’s like to stay there.
Upon walking into the restaurant, I immediately noticed the preserved olive trees, beautifully adorning the patio. The restaurant has plenty of space and is designed tastefully. It would honestly be the perfect spot for a romantic anniversary outing, an aesthetic girls’ night out, or a corporate dinner.

Is the food worth splurging on at BOA Steakhouse?
Well, I’ve dined at the one in Vegas, and it blew me away. So having dined at another location and seeing the consistency of wonderful hospitality and delicious food – it’s safe to say that it’s well worth the splurge.
BOA is known for their delicious, mouth-watering starters, wagyu, seafood, and classic (with a twist) sides. They’re best known for their signature dry-aged cuts and Japanese A5 wagyu.
What we ordered at BOA Steakhouse Napa Valley

Drinks
For drinks, we opted for two cocktails: The Bee Blossom (Roku gin, orange blossom honey, fresh lemon, egg white, honey ice pop) and the Smoke Show (Knob Creek Rye, maple syrup, orange bitters, applewood smoke, Luxardo cherry). Both were perfect for a warm sunny day.

Meals
We started off with the Wagyu Cigars (Black garlic yuzu aioli, chili crisp), which were packed full of flavor. They are quite filling, I definitely should have slowed down on eating it because I felt it taking most of the space in my stomach (lol).
We also opted for the Tableside Caesar Salad. Their “legendary recipe” was in fact legendary.
The main reason why we came to the property was to order their 6666 Ranch Ribeye. While I normally would opt for a Japanese A5 Wagyu, there was no way I was going to skip out on trying the iconic Texas grown ribeye. It was fucking delicious. I am a big fan of Taylor Sheridan and the entire Yellowstone franchise, so of course it made sense to order this – but even if you aren’t a fan, this ribeye will rock your world. And perhaps it’ll convince you start watching Yellowstone.
With the 6666 Ranch Ribeye, we opted for a cabernet sauvignon from Hourglass Vineyards – delicious. A match made in heaven.
For sides, we ordered the corn creme brulee (an absolute MUST order), the truffle mac and cheese, and creamed spinach.
For sauces, we ordered their signature sauce, the chimichurri, the peppercorn sauce, and the truffle butter. I’d honestly drown myself in that peppercorn sauce if I could. That was a favorite of mine for sure.

Dessert
For dessert, we ordered a cappuccino and a toffee pudding. It was delightful.
Experiencing BOA Steakhouse
Service, pacing, and overall experience
It was great. I mean what can I say? Everyone who worked there was so attentive and careful with making sure we enjoyed every sip and bite of our meals. There’s nothing I despise more than going to a nice steakhouse and being greeted with stiff hospitality. You won’t get that here at BOA Steakhouse.
The courses arrived at the right times. We didn’t feel rushed to finish eating and make room for the next reservation. It felt relaxed, as it should be.
Vibe check & dress code
Dress to impress. This is an LA-style steakhouse so dress and show up accordingly. Nice dress, high heels, cute bag. Button up, slacks, and loafers. You get the vibe.
This is perfect for nights when you want to splurge and be wowed.
The Verdict
I’d come back. I would for sure come back. This dinner was quite a memorable one. I hope this review helped lead you to making that reservation, because boy you are in for a treat.
