The Stratford Hotel Review: First Impressions of the Best Boutique Hotel in East London
The property features a 42 story building. The first 11 floors dedicated to hotel guests, and the upper floors for residents. I must say, it’s a pretty snazzy place to stay in and live in, for sure.
When I first walked into the property, I immediately fell in love. With its ultra posh Scandinavian interior design (all design is done by Space Copenhagen), the calming color palette, and unlimited seating for WFH (work from hotel), this was the perfect place to call home.
If you’re looking for a hotel in London that can cater to you for more than 3 days, this is so it. The property has a gym, two restaurants, a bar, a DJ playing in the lobby on Friday evenings, and a rooftop bar. You’ll never get bored, and you’re just a 15 minute commute away from the central hub of London via the Tube.

The Stratford hotel is located in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, East London. This area is very new to London. It’s very safe to walk around in and it’s super modern.
What is nearby the Stratford?
The Tube is conveniently located right across the street, giving you instant access to the rest of the city.
In case you need to buy a new outfit or just itching to go shopping, you’re right next to Europe’s largest mall, Westfield Stratford City.
You’re right by Hackney, which is a cool neighborhood filled with cafes, great restaurants, and a super cool urban/hipster feel.
Ambiance & First Impressions of the Stratford Hotel in East London
The Stratford Hotel is truly a fun hotel to be in. Whether it’s hanging out at the lobby to get some work done, having breakfast before heading out to explore the city, or having date night upstairs at the restaurant, at every single aspect of this hotel, its impeccable service and aesthetics always delivers.
Oh! I must also mention that in between the building, there’s a sphere that’s so hypnotizing. I loved staring at it at night before going to bed or heading out to go explore. That was such a focal point of the stay for me. It was mesmerizing to look at. I wish I had taken a photo of it to share. Anyway, it’s worth mentioning that it is indeed one of the wow factors of the hotel! You’ll see spheres all throughout the property, which is nice to see.
A Peek Inside the Rooms at the Stratford, a 5 Star Hotel in East London
The Standard Double Room has all the things you need, a plush queen bed, a stunning bathroom, a desk, and a seating area. I couldn’t get enough of the design of this place. I mean, truly, it really made you feel like such a cool girl staying in London.
Dining at the Stratford
You must eat at at least one of the restaurants at The Stratford. Whether it’s Stratford Brasserie or Allegra or even having breakfast downstairs before you go, you’re going to be so happy.

Allegra is just drop dead gorgeous. I mean, seriously, imagine having a romantic dinner date up here? It’s truly stunning.
Their food is just as stunning as the decor. I will note though that the portions are rather small.
